Ayurvedic energy booster juices for refreshing summer.

Happy Grishma rutu i.e Happy summer season to all of you. Let us learn how to make delicious and thirst quenching juices to enjoy this summer, which will be based on the Tridosha principle of Ayurveda.
Please see below details for the ingredients and procedure :

1. AAM PANNA/ RAW MANGO JUICE:




 INGREDIENTS:
Raw mango 2 nos
water 2 cups
3 Tbsp Mint / Pudina
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tbsp pepper powder
1/2 tbsp cumin powder
3/4 tbsp salt/ rocksalt

PROCEDURE:
1. Pressure cook raw mango after adding water in a Cooker, take off the skin of raw mango first.
2. Let the mixture cool down now completely remove the pulp from the mango.
3.In a blender blend raw mango pulp+mint+pepper powder+cumin powder+salt in given quantity.
4. Your pulp is ready.
5.Now add 1 part pulp and 6  parts water along with some ice cubes and serve it with some pudina leaves on top.

BENEFIT:
1. Balya- Provides strength because of its nutritional value.
2.Sheta- Provides cooling effect on body.
3.Immune booster as it is rich in vit c, vit e .
4.Vata, Pitta and Kapha all  are regulated by it.

2. WATERMELON JUICE:
                   

                   

INGREDIENTS:
1. Watermelon pieces about 8 to 10 (deseeded)
2. half lemon juice
3.Small piece of ginger.

PROCEDURE:
1. Blend the above ingredients in the blender .
2. add some sweetener like sugar or salt as per your liking.
3. Serve with some watermelon chunks in the juice.

BENEFITS AS PER AYURVEDA:
1. It helps reduce Pitta Dosha in the body.
2. it rejuvenates the Ras Dhatu , the primary water content i.e the plasma and non cellular portion of the body.
3.As it helps in regulating different sub types of Pitta Dosha it gives Glow and hydration to your skin.



3.MASALA SHIKANJI/MASALA LEMON JUICE.

                                       


INGREDIENT:

  •  teaspoon rock salt (or use regular table salt)

  • 1 teaspoon black salt (or himalayan pink salt)

  • 3 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder

  • 1 teaspoon chat masala powder

  • 1.5 teaspoon dried mint powder

Instead is  Mint powder we can add fresh mint to the lemon juice mix.

Procedure:
1. Squeeze lemon juice from 2 lemons.
2. take all the mentioned powders and mix well.
3. take 1 tbsp masala mix +add the lemon juice that u prepared earlier.
4.Then add half cup water
5. Serve it with lemon wedges and fresh mint leaves.

3. Natural coolant
4. Reduces lethargy and provides energy.
5.Pitta and kapha dosha reducer.
